If you ever come to Korea, you have to attend a baseball game. I am unsure of how many times people have said this to me, but they were correct. Today I had the pleasure of witnessing one of the coolest baseball games I have ever been to. It was the Doosan Bears vs. the LG Twins. Even though the Bears (the team I was pulling for) were beaten 7 - 0, the energy and fantasticness of the game was just unbelievable. Just try and imagine an entire crowd of people singing and waving blow-up "game sticks" in unison to the beat of drums and the dancing of cheerleaders.
I also promised I would mention something about hiking in an earlier post. To keep it short, hiking in Korea is outstanding and EVERYONE does it. Want to walk up a mountain on Tuesday after work? No problem. Just hop on the subway and join the tons of other Koreans with the same idea as you.
The other great part about these mountains is that they all have Buddhist temples all the way up. These temples are some of the most beautiful things you will ever see in your life. The hand painted and carefully built buildings are something right out of an Asian fairytale. Even the most tormentend can find some type of peace on the top of a mountain in a Buddhist temple.
On another note, I will be uploading a lot more video from now on. I want all of you to really experience, to the best of your limited internet ability, what I am doing in Korea.
